This is a Temporary, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

Seasonal Visitor Centre Assistant. - Loch of the Lowes.

Status: Part time seasonal, hours change during season:

1st March - 31st August:35 hours per week

1st September – 31st October 21 hours per week

Salary FTE £22,900  (pro rata).

Location: Loch of the Lowes.

Closing date: 24th January2024.

Interview date: week commencing 27th January or 3rd February 2025

 

The Role: 

We are looking for an  enthusiastic individual to provide a first class customer experience at our Loch of the Lowes Visitor Centre.

Assisting in the daily running of the centre, focussing on membership recruitment maximising sales, assisting with stock control and purchasing, wildlife events planning and ability to deliver talks.

The role involves working with volunteers, day to day running of the centre, opening /closing the centre ,daily cashing up and maintaining standards.

 

The candidate:

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and IT skills, can provide effective and innovative information  including updating social media.

Have worked in the retail/tourism/not for profit sector, and have an aptitude to enthuse others about nature conservation. A current UK driving licence, a first aid certificate and a general knowledge of Health & Safety is desirable.
